Hello, and a huge welcome to my new subscribers.
Since our last COVID lockdown in New Zealand, I’ve gone for a walk each morning. The fresh air wakes me, and I’ve learned that exercise is essential to keep me on an even mental keel. Even if it’s raining or I have somewhere else I need to be, I keep to my routine because this means a happy version of India, which is better for everyone!
Another thing I’ve learned is that I have sensitive wee toes. They blister or rub, which is most annoying. I’ll go for weeks without having a problem, then my little toes have a hissy fit and complain about doing so much work.
The other day an ad for unique socks came through my Facebook feed.
Creepers socks, designed by a New Zealander.
The socks were expensive, but the reviews were good, so I broke down and ordered a pair. They’re Merino wool socks, and the blurb says fewer blisters, hotspots, and no rubbing.
I was seduced.
The socks arrived last week, and I tried them on. My first problem: getting my deformed little toes into the correct position. The socks feel soft on my feet, but I haven’t tried them properly yet. I’m taking them with me to Australia on a short holiday, and I’ll let you know if we have a terrible breakup or if the seduction lives on!
And taking about seduction…
